This is Charlie's story. On October 26, 2021, Charles Martin Corvi was stillborn, just 15 days shy of his due date. When he should have been taking his first steps, opening his Christmas presents, and playing with his older brothers, Charlie’s absence instead left an emptiness full of heartache. Charlie is not here to tell his story, so we must do it for him.
Dear Charlie… is a poignant collection of letters written by David, Charlie’s dad, over the year following Charlie’s death. It is a father’s expression of never-ending love and a tribute to the son who will never grow up.

About the Author
David and his wife, Katherine, founded the Charles Martin Corvi Fund after losing their son to stillbirth in 2021. Charlie's fund supports families who've also experienced pregnancy or infant loss through forms of advocacy, research, grief support, and remembrance. David has spent the past 15+ years as an educational leader in underserved and under-resourced communities. He is also an avid rock climber, skier, and hiker.
