Synopsis

Coloring Ivory: The Intersection of Minority Politics, Business, & the Law combines Chun’s personal experiences of growing up in the United States as an Asian American with research in fields such as education, housing, and disability rights, all related to minority politics. She wrote this book because she never saw herself represented or considered in minority politics in America and felt overlooked by the research and by the media.

Readers will discover how minority politics, business, and the law not only influence each other but also depend on one another. This book hopes to instill passion and excitement about the intersection of consumerism, politics, and the law.

In this book, you'll learn about...

• Considerations of feminism in the South Korean film industry
• What it means to be poor and without access to medication
• Growing up as a minority creative and seeing particular identities over others
• Asian Americans' positioning in American consumer culture and politics
• ...and much more.

This is a nonfiction book that speaks to creatives and business owners who want to look at their customer base and politics in a new way.
