With a cast of colorful New York characters, The Other: The Linotype Legacy follows terrorists and crime bosses, Homeland Security agents and police inspectors, Orthodox Jews and committed Christians—and a Messianic Jewish synagogue. All the while, we ponder the philosophical question, who is The Other?
As we track the bittersweet relationship between dutiful daughter Naomi Kaplan and handsome detective Darrin Brock—as well as others, both familiar and unfamiliar—a deeply affecting and poignant story unfolds. No one who begins The Other: The Linotype Legacy will easily put it down.

Michael Robert Wolf was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated magna cum laude in English and literature from Temple University. Eventually, he moved to Cincinnati to serve in ministry related activities. In 2012, he released his first novel, The Upper Zoo, published by Destiny Image Publishers. It rose to number three across all genres at Amazon.com. The Linotype Operator, published by Finishing Line Press, was released in June of 2016. New York Times number one bestselling and first Oprah selection author Jacquelyn Mitchard has written about The Linotype Operator, "It enchanted me in a way I've been enchanted by only a handful of stories over the last ten years. When I finished it, I wanted to read it all over again." The Other: The Linotype Legacy is his third and latest novel. He lives in Cincinnati with his wife Rachel, author and editor of North Light art books.
