About the Author
Matthew Silverman is the author of Mets Essential, the coauthor of Mets by the Numbers, the editor of Baseball: The Biographical Encyclopedia, and the coeditor of Meet the Meets and Total Mets. He also wrote Swinging '73: Baseball's Wildest Season and New York Mets: The Complete Illustrated History. He lives in High Falls, New York.
