Ron Horton focuses on the story of scripture as he encourages laypeople and Bible scholars alike to read the Bible as readers, and not just students. Not only should one be looking for meaning and inspirational concepts when one reads the Bible, but one should also be reading it for the sheer pleasure of reading. Take a look at the Bible through Ron Horton's eyes and let yourself be captivated by the message, or adventure within the divinely inspired biblical scenes, so that you might better understand the whole story of Scripture.

Ronald Arthur Horton, PhD (1936"€"2019) was a scholar, a student of Scripture, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and a mentor and friend to many from all walks of his rich life. He was a faculty member at Bob Jones University for more than 58 years, serving in both the English and philosophy departments as well as heading each of these departments during his tenure. He taught Sunday school in his local church, preparing as carefully for those lessons as he did for his university classes. He was a humble man, however, those who were touched by his life viewed him as a giant.
