Synopsis
This collection of poems contains many themes and subjects including love, loss of love, realities that people face, simple poems about places, figures in history and many other subjects that have deeply affected the author. Many of the poems are about little creatures we overlook in our daily lives, describing many of them with a human character, movement and compassion. Some of the poems are about animism, the nature of the soul, the nature of God and spirituality. The author has written most of the poems in free verse because he feels it is impossible to structure the expanse of free thought that flows from the mind. Rhyme and meter have been stripped away to expose truth and realism. The few rhyming poems have been adapted in such a manner so that they seem like a simple song. The author and his poetry have evolved to reflect the changing nature of his life and surroundings. A Fit Full of Thoughts is a celebration of life and all the joys and complexities of our world.
