In the '40s, he was an American hero, a daredevil fighter pilot, a technological genius. a superhero. Captain Midnight originally started out as a radio serial, which ran from 1938 to 1949. It starred a WWI aviator pilot and expert inventor who leads the Secret Squadron. Along with his team, including Chuck Ramsay, Ichabod """"Ikky"""" Mudd, Joyce Ryan, Agent Kelly, Major Barry Steele and """"Mr Jones"""", Captain Midnight contends with crime, espionage and sabotage. His nemesis Ivan Shark is a ruthless criminal mastermind who returns again and again to plague the hero and his team.

Joshua Williamson writes comics, kids books and resides in Portland OR. Williamson has written for a wide variety of publishers and titles including DC Comic's Voodoo and Superman/Batman, Marvel's Incredible Hulks, Image comics with Dear Dracula and Xenoholics and Sketch Monsters for ONI Press.
