Synopsis
A street preacher in denim robes is among the first to notice them: the growing number of mental patients being released from the local facility onto the city s backstreets...
The preacher s attempt to protect his flock and find out what s going on propels him into an epic quest, whereby he encounters the mysterious cardinals (a gang uniformed in all red attire) flitting through the chaos; a part of town that seems to be run by cats; and an enigmatic smoking man who knows everything to come. The Revisionaries is, in the end, a wildly imaginative, masterfully rendered and suspenseful tale of one man trying to differentiate between reality and fantasy in order to find the source of his faith amidst hellish chaos. It is a work of bold outlandishness and stylishness that seems to roll Thomas Pynchon and Kurt Vonnegut and Alan Moore into one - while still being unlike anything that s come before.
And, in A.R. Moxon, it marks the emergence of a major new talent. Already known to his massive twitter following for his biting humour and passionate intellect, this work will surely expand his fandom to a whole new realm.
