Synopsis

What's the real meaning of the city in the desert built by the followers of the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh? Originally published fifteen years before the release of Netflix's hit Wild Wild Country, Davisson's insightful commentary is a groundbreaking analysis of the events that transpired in Oregon in the early 1980s when hundreds of spiritual seekers came face to face with the xenophobia of a small handful of locals. Newly updated and expanded with additional information.
