About the Author

Florida born Esther Luttrell worked in feature films and in television at MGM and CBS before writing her first novel, "Murder in the Movies". Since then she has written several mysteries, two books on life after death, and the screenplay for feature film, "Te Ata". "Invitation to a Murder", set in Kansas and Missouri, is the first in her State of the Murder Mysteries. Second in the series, "Midnight on Mingus Mountain", is an Arizona State of the Murder Mystery. Children's books are written under her maiden name, Esther Cox. When she isn't traveling as a writer or public speaker, she makes her home in the Midwest.
