About the Author

British biblical scholar ALFRED EDERSHEIM (1825-1889) was a Jewish convert to Christianity. He is best known for The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah (1883). His other works include History of the Old Covenant (1859) and History of the Jewish Nation After the Destruction of Jerusalem Under Titus (1856).
