Synopsis
Alan F. Hickman is Associate Professor of English at the American University in Bulgaria, where he has taught composition and literature for two years. In addition to Bulgaria, Professor Hickman has taught in Germany, Thailand, and the United States. He received his PhD in English from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, in 1990. He is a published poet and essayist, and an unpublished novelist. Timer is his second chapbook, his first being The Wallpaper Goes.
