In what he has called his “lifetime message,” marriage expert H. Norman Wright helps readers understand their own communication styles—and how to enhance communication with their spouses.
Couples marry believing they’re compatible. In no time, they wonder, “Who is this person I married? Are we from different worlds? What language is he speaking?” The purpose of this book is to teach a simple procedure for discovering a partner’s unique communication style, learn to match it, and finally, connect. Thousands of couples have learned this sensible approach and, as a result, are finding communication far more satisfying.
Dr. Wright provides sample dialogues and illustrations of learning, gender, and personality differences, as well as exercises that couples can practice in fifteen minutes or less. HOW TO SPEAK YOUR SPOUSE’S LANGUAGE will give couples hope that they can learn a new model of communication, no matter how long they’ve been married.
