Synopsis
Having received a dire plea from the only two inhabitants on the planet Georgium Sidus, Art, Myrtle, and their family decide that they must travel to their neighboring planet in order help Reverend Cruet and his daughter in whatever way they can and end up in the midst of a dangerous quest with the fate of the entire Empire at risk.

About the Author
PHILIP REEVE worked in a bookstore and produced and directed several plays before beginning a career as an illustrator and writer. His first novel, Mortal Engines, was shortlisted for the prestigious Whitbread Children's prize. Philip lives outside of London, England.
DAVID WYATT's illustrations have graced the books and covers of such authors as Terry Pratchett, Philip Pullman, Diana Wynne-Jones, and J.R.R. Tolkien. He live in Devon, England.
