About the Authors

Kim “Tip” Frank, Ed.S., has spent over 40 years working with and helping children first as a classroom teacher and then as an elementary school counselor and private practice psychotherapist in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He has also enjoyed traveling to speak and share ideas with teachers and school counselors throughout the U.S. He likes to spend time with his family including his wife, grown kids and grandkids hiking, fishing and camping.

Mike Paget, M.Ed., worked at the South Carolina Department of Education as the consultant for students with emotional and behavioral problems. Prior to that, Mike taught special education classes and directed school-based treatment programs for 25 years. In his work with students with emotional and behavioral problems, Mike has always believed that both he and the students can do better tomorrow than they did today. Mike is an independent trainer and consultant.

Jerry Wilde, Ph.D. is Dean and Professor of Educational Psychology at Indiana University East. Prior to his academic appointment, he had nine years of experience as a school psychologist where he worked with students who had emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties. Dr. Wilde has written 15 books on topics such as anger management, cognitive behavior therapy, and the treatment of anxiety and depression in children and adolescents. He lives with his wife, Heather, in Richmond, Indiana.
