About the Author

David Terris, MD, FACS William S. Duke, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Georgia Regents University (GRU). He completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University (LSU) and obtained his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Duke completed an otolaryngology residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. After residency, he served an additional four years in the United States Army, including tenures as chief of otolaryngology during both domestic and overseas assignments. Dr. Duke went on to complete a fellowship in head and neck endocrine surgery at Georgia Regents University, where he now serves as a member of the GRU Thyroid and Parathyroid Center. Janice L.
