Synopsis
Parker Ranch, located in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii, is not only one of the country s largest cattle ranches but it is also one of the oldest and most historic. Significant of the time was the passing of Parker Ranch s last owner and sixth-generation Parker descendent Richard Smart. With his passing, the end of an era brought about a board of trustees to oversee Parker Ranch.
