Synopsis

Though what one does and knows are important, God's greatest concern is what one is. The purpose of this study is to develop character and maturity in "the inner man." (Eph. 3:16) The goal is not mere conformity or outward compulsion but rather inward purity and strong Christian character. Both result only from the supernatural work of God in the human heart. This study is based on Spiritual Leadership by J. Oswald Sanders. The student's manual includes: *Content age-appropriate for 10th-12th grade students *35 lessons (one per week) *Illustrations and notes from the teacher's lesson *An introductory section with reading and homework to be completed in advance *Original artwork to introduce each lesson *Additional student research for each lesson *Complete text of Spiritual Leadership *A Stepping Towards Effective Leadership section with further ideas for expanding each lesson *A recommended reading list *Two-color format
