About the Authors

Karen Jean Matsko Hood and her husband are the parents of twelve children and adopted/foster children. They make their home on their farm in eastern Washington State where they breed Icelandic Horses and Icelandic Sheepdogs. Among her other pursuits, Ms. Hood is a court advocate for the rights of abused and neglected children.She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University.

Karen Jean Matsko Hood is the author of numerous cookbooks, children s books, poetry and more. A woman of wide interests, she, her husband and twelve children and foster children make their home in Spokane Valley, Washington. Ms. Hood is currently completing work on her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University.
