Synopsis

Readers will welcome Jesus the Messiah more deeply into their lives as they encounter his kingship through the pages of this book. Each of the ten reflections on key biblical passages will help them come to know Jesus in his role as Messiah, the Savior of the world. The first three chapters focus on Old Testament passages that unfold the promises of God promises to redeem fallen humankind from sin; to establish his anointed one on the throne of David forever; and to bring an eternal reign of peace and justice. The remaining chapters present gospel scenes that portray Jesus in his messianic role God's promises being fulfilled through the birth, ministry, death, and resurrection of his Son. Each chapter contains questions for reflection that will help readers explore the meaning of the text and how they can practically live it out in their daily lives. Suitable for group or individual use.
