About the Authors

Sheila Webster Boneham, Ph.D., is an award-winning writer. For the past decade, she has taught people about dogs through her writing and other activities. She hopes that her successes and mistakes as a puppy buyer, breeder, and rescuer can benefit other dog lovers and their dogs. Sheila and her canine companions are active in conformation, obedience, agility, and dog-assisted therapy and have dabbled in herding, tracking, and retriever field work.
