About the Authors
Sheila Webster Boneham, Ph.D., is an award-winning writer. For the past decade, she has taught people about dogs through her writing and other activities. She hopes that her successes and mistakes as a puppy buyer, breeder, and rescuer can benefit other dog lovers and their dogs. Sheila and her canine companions are active in conformation, obedience, agility, and dog-assisted therapy and have dabbled in herding, tracking, and retriever field work.
Sheila Webster Boneham, Ph.D., is a three-time winner of the coveted Maxwell Award offered annually by the Dog Writers of America. Her work has been published in Cat Fancy, AKC Gazette, Dog Fancy, and many other publications. She is a member of both the Cat Writers Association and Dog Writers Association of America.
