Synopsis
In this book, a companion to An Offering of Leaves, much-loved Jivamukti Yoga teacher ,Ruth Lauer-Manenti, ('Lady Ruth') offers over forty more of the 'dharma talks' that she gives at the beginning of each yoga class. Her reflections - complete with the Sanskrit verses that are the source of her studies, as well as the English transliteration and translation - are at once poignant and practical and both minutely observed and expansive in their implications for our inner and outer lives.

About the Author
Ruth Lauer-Manenti has written three books: An Offering of Leaves, Sweeping the Dust, and Fell In Her Hands, all published by Lantern. The first two are collections of short stories given as examples to teach yoga philosophy, that originated in the classroom and were then edited for reading. The last book Fell In Her Hands is a novel that tells a story of several characters seeking enlightenment through the human experience of the ups and downs of life. The novel is inspired by The Yoga Sutra of Maharishi Patanjali: a scripture written in Sanskrit more than 2000 years ago.
