Review
Paper cutting seems to be all the rage with many books sprouting up on this subject. This has a quality feel with a beautiful cover, one of my favourite designs from this book. It is well designed with simple projects that anyone can make. It starts with simple folds, progresses to accordion folds - single, double and quadruple. It then demonstrates layered folds - double, triple and quadruple. My main criticism is that the images for the folds are small and I don't find them that easy to use. In the second part of the book you will find contemporary projects such as cards, collage or book covers to make with the skills you have learned in part one. There are 14 good projects. In part three, the books takes inspiration from six designers with some exciting projects for those who have mastered the paper cutting skills. Finally there is a how to make the projects section in black and white, which I found too small - you might need a magnifying glass.
