About the Authors

Yves Gerem, no stranger to the Lone Star State, is the author of A Marmac Guide to Dallas (pb), published by Pelican.

John Davidson has held senior editorial positions at Vanity Fair, Texas Monthly, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and the San Antonio Express-News. As a freelance writer, he has contributed to GQ, Fortune, Elle, House & Garden, and Preservation magazines. He lives in Austin, Texas.
