Review

I used to be secretly proud of my untidiness, considering it a sign of my artistic nature. Then Mary Lambert changed my mind. If your home is cluttered, so is your mind - and your health and wellbeing will suffer. Ten days after starting to de-junk, I already feel much more alert and energised, and have stopped losing everything and forgetting appointments. Mary Lambert has certainly changed my mind about junk - ands she may just have changed my life, too. -- Tania Alexander, Sunday Express magazine, 31 December 2000

Clearing clutter is a powerful process that will bring startling changes in your life. In cluttered areas of your home, chi (energy) stagnates, and once this stale energy has accumulated, it will grow even more. Junk mail, abandoned craft projects, newspapers waiting for recycling- all constitute clutter. Clutter also means all those neglected items that you hide in corners, thinking that you will make a decision about them later- but you never do. Avoiding a drastic clear-out can stem from a fear of the future, but once you commit to it, you will move on and change.
