John Anderson is the head baseball coach at the University of Minnesota, a position he assumed in 1981 after serving as an assistant in the Gopher s staff the previous four seasons. One of the most widely respected coaches in the game, Anderson is the all time winningest coach in UM history with 838 wins. In his highly successful career, he has led Minnesota to 20 Big Ten Tournament Appearances in 23 seasons, winning eight times. Five times, he has been awarded Big Ten Coach of the Year honors.
