About the Author
MARGARET RUSSELL is editor in chief of Elle Decor. She has worked as a stylist and design consultant, and is a frequent lecturer on interior decoration. JOHN M. HALL'S photographs have appeared in House Beautiful. Elle Decor, Interior Design, Architectural Digest, Veranda, Nest, and the New York Times magazine, and is featured in many books including Living with Art(Rizzoli), Antiques at Home (Clarkson N. Potter), Simply Flowers (Clarkson N. Potter), Biedermeier (Abbeville), and Fresh Cuts: Arrangements with Flowers, Leaves, Buds, and Branches (Artisan).
