Fantasy continues to be a hot topic and it's not just for kids interested in comics. Many fine artists love mythological creatures like mermaids, centaurs and dragons. With her characteristic friendly instruction, Claudia Nice shows how to create realistic-looking fantasy artwork by transforming everyday images into imaginary creatures - such as a horse into a unicorn or a girl into a pixie - by using exaggeration and expression. These images can be created using a wide variety of mediums, including pen and ink, watercolour and acrylic.

About the Author
Claudia Nice is a self-taught artist who developed her realistic art style by sketching from nature. She is a multi-media artists, but prefers pen, ink and watercolour when working in the field. She travels across North America conducting workshops, seminars and demonstrations. Her oils, watercolours and ink drawings have won numerous awards and can be found in private collections across the continent. She has authored fourteen successful art instruction books.
