About the Author

Honoured by, among others, the Hawaii Watercolor Society, the Northwest Watercolor Society and the University of Guam Isa Center of the Arts, Ruth Glenn Little is a self-taught artist from northwestern Nebraska. Without the advantage of formal art education, Ruth jumped at the chance at a six-week class with Tom Berger. She found additional inspiration from reading every art book she could get her hands on, including one about Winslow Homer, after which she decided to follow Homer's advice that learning to paint is accomplished by simply painting.
