An everyday tool for self-exploration. Love the messages in the book, so I had to get the cards. Very helpful.

The book is nice and it gives in great detail the meaning of each pog-like dolphin chip. The book explains everything and I highly recommend it. But why only 4 out of 5 stars? Well you have to purchase the dolphin cards separately.

This is a very useful guide book for the tiny, pog-like deck of oracle cards called Dolphin Divination cards. It is sold separately from the cards and was written a couple of years after the cards were designed. The cards CAN be used without the guide book but they are much easier to use with it. The delineations for each card are thorough and thoughtful. The cards and this book both encourage the development of the intuition and I consider them an excellent starting place for people who are interested in learning more about the use of oracles such as the runes or Tarot cards. This book is beautifully written and conveys a philosophy of light and joy which is very "New Age". Depending upon your own feelings about the New Age movement and way of being, you may appreciate these to one degree or another. No matter what your philosophy, if you consult this book and practice with the simple cards you will hone your ability to recognize synchronicities and guidance from either your higher self, your subconscious mind, or your higher power. If you want to practice, contemplate, meditate, "inner-vestigate", this book is a useful tool.

When I look up the explanation to the card I drew, I find that it always answers my question perfectly. Also, the spiritual beliefs presented in the book dovetail very nicely with my own spiritual beliefs in the workings of the universal order of things. I can usually feel the dolphins nuzzling me and playfully moving about while I am using the divination cards. The cards and book are wonderful!

About the Author

Nancy Clemens Author of: Dolphin Divination Cards and A Guide to the Dolphin Divination Cards Nancy Clemens was co-publisher of Blue Dolphin Publishing and is an active advocate for dolphins worldwide. Mother of five young adults, Nancy lives on a small farm outside Nevada City, California, with husband, Paul, and an assortment of other sentient beings. Nancy loves traveling and immersing herself in native cultures. She champions the rights of indigenous peoples to preserve their sacred sites and way of life. Most of her teachers have come from the Tibetan, Native American, mystic Sufi, and Christian traditions. Saint Francis of Assisi, her patron saint, carries threads of all these traditions, as well as demonstrating his love and communication with animals. Through his inspiration Nancy came to love animals ... cats and dogs, tigers, lions, wolves, horses, and perhaps most of all, the dolphins and whales.
