Synopsis
Praying for every community in America is the goal of "The Lighthouse Movement." This book is a complete "tool kit" on how Christians can become lighthouses to their neighbors, reaching them with the gospel.
Mission America has brought together denominations from across the country and the directors of influential ministries to see this goal accomplished. With a forward by Luis Palau, each of these thirty-five chapters is authored by a leader in his or her respective field, including David Mains, Shaunti Feldhahn, and Bill McCartney. Every area of outreach is explored, giving the reader the practical resources for realizing the goal of Christ-centered communities by the beginning of the new millennium.

About the Author
Dr. Cornell (Corkie) Haan is national facilitator of ministry networks for Mission America. He and his wife, Marcia, are the parents of three sons and live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mission America is a coalition of churches, denominations, parachurch ministries, and ministry networks working to pray for, care for, and share Christ with everyone in America by year-end 2000. Celebrate Jesus 2000 and The Lighthouse Movement are initiatives supporting this goal and operating within the Mission America coalition.
