Synopsis

Kabbalah explains that the Bible is neither just a book of stories to be taken literally nor an historical archive of events. Although these occurrences took place thousands of years ago, there are relevant spiritual truths hidden within each tale. In the five-volume set of What God Meant, Michael Berg addresses contemporary challenges in a manner that affirms, even in the worst situations, that there is goodness and opportunity. In Exodus, the second book in the series, Michael describes how Moses set the stage for all people to become leaders, spiritual teachers, and miracle makers. By understanding the hidden kabbalistic principles, we’re shown how to connect more closely with our Creator. Once we remove the veils of selfish behavior, we become aware of the truth that God is in everything. When we own this awareness, as Moses did, we can open ourselves up to prophesy and fulfill our real purpose.
