The Summer Solstice, called Letha's Day in the Celtic Druid Tradition, has always been one of my favorite times of the year. It is the time of absolute florescence. Letha means lethal, as in death, because after the Summer Solstice, comes death, in terms of nature and the slow dying of the sun as we approach autumn. The first step to expanding human consciousness is to spend some time in nature at the Summer Solstice; in the woods, by the ocean, in the park, or in your own backyard. By giving some thought to Mother Nature's 15 Minutes, you can then give some thought to your personal 15 minutes of florescence, deciding if you want it to last a few minutes, or a lifetime.
