Hardcover. 4to. Slipcase. Condition: Very Good. Elise Van Der Heijden (illustrator). 1st edition. This special first edition (#506 of 1000) has boards bound in blue cloth with straight edges and pointed corners. Gold and black detailing on front board. Black illustration present on center of back board. Spine is uncreased with straight edges. Gold and black detailing and titling. Light patina present across front and back boards. Text block is square with lightly foxed edges. Binding is tight. 483p. You can find Sanchez-Ariño and Heijdens' signatures in blue ink on special editions page just before half title page. Interior is otherwise unmarked with crisp white pages that include black illustrations as well as a couple tipped in glossy pages of colored illustrations. Black ribbon place holder sewn inside. Small publisher postcard included inside. Blue Slipcase is intact with straight edges and pointed corners. Small crack present at the top hinge of entrance of case but remains secure.
