About this title

From the Author

My book is a Chinese style of AESOP'S FABLES.
Hi Readers: I am the author of CHINESE FABLES AND WISDOM.My e-mail address is tomma@wt.net. Have you ever read AESOP'S FABLES? The publisher of Gardner Press who first published this book wrote to me that the reason why he offered me a publishing contract was because he liked to read AESOP'S FABLES and this book was a good Chinese style of AESOP'S FABLES. Soon after the book was published in 1996, Gardner Press was out of business. Later on in early 1997, when the publisher of Barricade Books decided to republish this book, she fully agreed with what the first publisher had said. With more than 5,000 years of culture, China has created countless wise fables. This book is my English translation of the greatest and most interesting Chinese fables. Many readers told me that any of the fables they read would enhance their lives a little bit and the more fables they read, the more their lives would improve. I would reply any e-mail from you and sincerely discuss with you about every fable in this book.
