This is the 'on-point', 'pro-active' humour book on how to avoid meaningful interaction with co-workers. One can hate 'em, fear 'em, but they will still be there: in the hallway, outside the bathroom, at the water cooler, and around every cubicle - the friendly, talkative co-worker. Contrary to conventional wisdom, the greatest challenge in today's office environment is not how to keep from being stabbed in the back by corporate clients; it's how to avoid becoming friends with vacuous office idiots. But ignoring them will only make them difficult to work with. The book offers the only safe alternative: meaningless phrases that are just clever enough to elicit a quick chuckle and a smile, but really don't say anything, ask anything, or even lead to an actual conversation. The reader will find thousands of little pearls to make co-workers think he or she is witty, interesting and likeable, while allowing them to remain total strangers.
