Synopsis
Difficulty with memory is a cognitive deficit experienced by people following brain injury. The degree to which a client is able to compensate for memory deficits often defines his or her capability fo function at work, at home, and socially. This book focuses on the implementation of external memory aids to help clients compensate for memory deficits, specifically personal organizers, calendars, watches, checklists, and so forth. It helps occupational therapists define and implement successful approaches using these methods.
