This volume presents a practical introduction to computing spline functions and takes the elementary and directly available approach of using explicit and easily evaluated forms of the spline interpolants. Spath outlines the conditions under which splines can be best applied and integrates into his presentation numerous formulas and algorithms to emphasize his concepts.
