About the Author

Hans H. Strupp was distinguished professor emeritus in the department of psychology at Vanderbilt University and director of The Vanderbilt Center of Psychotherapy Research, which specializes in the study of time-limited dynamic psychotherapy. He is the author of Freud and Modern Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapists in Action among others.
