Synopsis
The papers in this book set out to prove that computers can be a useful tool in the teaching of English and concentrate on Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in EFL. They are followed by a group of short pieces about language, which serve as a link to the final group which deal with classroom methods, unsupported by technology. Overall, this is a fascinating insight into the development of English language teaching, presented in an open and accessible fashion.
