Getting on better terms with Saturn and loving it!
Both newer students and veteran pros alike get uneasy feelings about natal Saturn as well as its transits. But let’s not forget that for the ancient Romans, Saturn was a god of abundant crop yield during his reign over a legendary Golden Age, when all was right with the world. Well, all can still be right with our inner world now if we’d just let go of a few prejudices and instead adopt some fresh attitudes about this ultimately "fair-and-square" planet. Admittedly, Saturn’s no picnic at times, but neither is it The Black Plague!

Twelve Faces Of Saturn is my non-sugar-coated attempt to show how vital our Saturn is to everything that is truly meaningful to our deeper growth (something we wisely realize the older we get). And so, why unnecessarily dread or put-down a dutiful, hard-working planet--wearing sensible shoes, of course--that’s only looking out for our best interest, I ask? Besides detailed reports of Saturn in every natal sign and house position--plus a look at all its natal aspects--I’ve even included the TRANSITS of Saturn to all our natal planets (although not its passages through the houses).

There is also sufficient introductory material as well (such as information about your Saturn’s natal mode and element). The final chapter--sounding a little different from the rest of the book--explores Saturn from esoteric, karmic, mythological, psychological, and astronomical perspectives. (Wait until you read about astronomical Saturn’s mysterious white spot, appearing on the planet’s surface about "every 30 years"? Hmmm...food for thought). The text is clear and conversational in tone (in type large enough to please your eyes).

But what makes this Saturn book "not your father’s Oldsmobile" is that I’ve injected my own brand of humor here and there, usually when you least expect it! If you think you can’t handle a slightly irreverent look at Saturn’s world, I still say buy this book anyway and then see how you feel after you read it all. Other readers have already found Twelve Faces Of Saturn unexpectedly refreshing. Here’s a work that will offer those at all levels of astrology something insightful and useful. If I sound excited and happy about this new book I’ve written, I am...I am!
