About the Author

Dan Parks Sydow is a computer programmer, consultant, and author based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a software engineer he has worked on projects in areas as diverse as software control of the on-board nuclear reactor of the Seawolf submarine to heart image display software for a hospital's medical imaging department. In the last few years he has written over a dozen programming books.
