About the Author

<strong>William J. Rothwell</strong>, Ph.D., SPHR is winner of the 2011 ASTD Distinguished Contribution to Workplace Learning and Performance award. A frequent presenter and noted author, he has visited every continent except Antarctica to present training.<br><br><strong>Justin Arneson</strong> is a senior scientist with the Human Resources Research Organization. He has extensive experience in job analysis, competency modeling, and test development.<br><br><strong>Jennifer Naughton</strong> is the Senior Director of Competencies & Credentialing at ASTD. She led ASTD's most recent competency model effort and also launched ASTD CI’s Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP®) certification program. She is a people systems architect with more than 20 years of experience in consulting, competency model development, and personnel selection and assessment research.
