About this title

From the Publisher

Only the essential facts and strategies!
When deciding whether or not to create a new product for the certification market, we asked ourselves, "What else can we offer our readers? What other way is there to present information to the certification candidate?" The answers to those questions appear in the new MCSE Fast Tracks from New Riders. This series is intended to help reinforce and clarify information with which you are already familiar. There are a few things that make Fast Tracks different from anything else on the shelf. First, we focus on what you really need to know to pass the exam. We’ve broken the Windows NT Server 4 Enterprise exam down into 74 manageable topics that you should master before sitting the exam...and that’s all we cover. Secondly, we think we’ve created a book that will appeal to the experienced exam candidate, someone with only one exam left to take, as well as those of you just starting out, with your whole MCSE in front of you. And third, you’re learning from instructors who have helped thousands of people, like you, pass the test. Only the test taking strategies that have been tested in the classroom and proven by instructors to work are included in our Fast Track books.

We know your study time is valuable. We are confident our MCSE Fast Track: Windows NT Server 4 Enterprise will help accelerate your path to MCSE success.

From the Author

The single source of information for passing exam 70-068.
If you are new to Windows NT Server, have little actual experience with the product, or have never installed the product on a machine, then this book is not for you.

On the other hand, if you are an experienced network administrator who wants to cut to the chase and read the minute details Microsoft considers important so you can pass the Microsoft Windows NT Server 4 Enterprise (70-068) exam, then this book IS for you.

Intended as a complement to real world knowledge, and not a replacement for it, this book is divided into one chapter per objective category on the exam. It also includes review chapters, sample questions, exam specifics, and "At-A-Glance" tables of items you need to commit to memory.
