Drew Heywood is the best-selling author of a host of networking books including Networking with Microsoft TCP/IP and Inside Windows NT Server 4, both from New Riders. Drew's vast networking experience coupled with his strong writing, teaching, and presentation skills make him uniquely suited to author Networking Windows 2000.

Zubair Ahmad (Alexander) (MCSE, MCT, MCP+I, A+, CTT) works as a trainer and consultant in Seattle, Washington and has written extensively on Microsoft products for several years. He reviews technical books and articles for various publishers. He is known worldwide for his articles on Windows NT/2000, and has written as a contributing editor and online columnist for Windows 2000 Magazine. Zubair is a Microsoft EST endorsed trainer. In addition to writing monthly columns for Microsoft TechNet, he has been involved in writing Windows 2000 exam questions for Microsoft.

Zubair holds a degree in Computer Information Systems. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering, and a B.S. in Mathematics.
