Synopsis
An outcast in his suburban elementary school, Rusty's story is an uncomfortably vivid and uncompromising look into the life of a social outcast, befriended solely by his Supergirl action figure until he meets new kid on the block and fellow comic nerd, Chalky White. Set to run longer than Jimmy Corrigan, Ware intends to trace Brown's life through into adulthood, along with every excruciating moment of failure it brings. This is only the second issue of the highly acclaimed, ten-year-running ACME NOVELTY LIBRARY series to be available as a bound volume - a format which allows Ware to indulge the reader with many surprises from his faux-advertising sections and elaborate three-dimensional cut-out designs.
