Synopsis
This work is intended for ages 4 to 8 years. With a computer paint or drawing program, a printer, crayons, and a little imagination, kids can explore the world of colour and the endless design possibilities of a computer by crafting multimedia art. This four-colour activity book combines this tool of today with an old favourite - the crayon. Kids will learn how to print out and paint a picture frame; use a mouse to create a Matisse masterpiece; create a kite of rainbow colours; and more while learning about primary, secondary, and complementary colours. "Crayons and Computers" includes ideas to extend crayon creations beyond the confines of paper and into cyberspace.

Carol Sabbeth is the author of Kids’ Computer Creations, Mousetracks, and Computer Crafts for Kids. She has taught kids’ computer arts and crafts and now leads kids’ computer workshops for educators.
