STEWART BLACK is assistant professor of business administration at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College. HAL B. GREGERSEN Hal B. Gregersen is a visiting assistant professor of business administration at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College. MARK E. MENDENHALL holds the J. Burton Frierson Chair of Excellence in Business Leadership at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. All three authors have lived overseas and have consulted with a wide variety of multinational organizations on the subject.
