About the Author

George J. Sefa Dei is a professor and associate chair of the department of sociology and equity studies in education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. He is also director of the Centre for Integrative Anti-Racism Studies, Indigenous Knowledges and International Development. Agnes Calliste is an associate professor in the department of sociology and anthropology at St. Francis Xavier University.
