About the author:
Allergic to all things furred or feathered, Jennifer Rae nonetheless loves animals, and
dreams of one day owning a Scotch-guarded Scottie, or perhaps a bald eagle. She has
a long history of translating Animal to English, and is also the author of Gilbert de la Frogponde: A Swamp Story. She lives in Toronto, Ontario.
About the illustrator:
Rose Cowles loves dogs so much that her neighbour once remarked that if he could come back as any creature on earth he would choose to be her dog. Rose and her canine companion Josie live in Victoria with husband Jeremy and daughter Georgia. Rose is also the illustrator of Gilbert de la Frogponde: A Swamp Story.
